It is good to give thanks to the Lord.
“We believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus,” – Acts 15:11
No other way.
“Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not.” – God (Exd. 16:4)
A valuable lesson for every believer to learn.
“Work out your salvation with fear and trembling” – Phil. 2:12-13
Work out, not for.
“The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of justice. The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.” – Psa. 37:30-31
The mouth, tongue, heart, and feet must all be yielded to God.
“Who established the mountains by His strength, Being clothed with power; – Psa. 65:6
The mountains did not make themselves. God, through His mighty power, established them.
“By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the far-off seas;” – Psa. 65:5
God is our confidence.
“Blessed is the man You choose, And cause to approach You, That he may dwell in Your courts.” – Psa. 65:4
God causes believers to approach Him.
“This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD” – Psa. 102:18
Point our children toward faith in meaningful ways.
“He who was delivered over because of our wrongdoings, and was raised because of our justification.” – Rom. 4:25
Every day is lived in the shadow of the cross and the hope of the empty tomb.
