“He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” – Rev. 19:16
Jesus is King of kings.
Rev. Patrick Vincent
“He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” – Rev. 19:16
Jesus is King of kings.
“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.” – Jesus (John 16:12)
What Jesus has to say and reveal is never exhausted.
However, revelation is only made to a mind which can accept it.
“And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” – Rev. 20:10
The saddest verse in the Bible.
“They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.” – Rev. 22:4-5
This is called, “The Beatific Vision,” when believers pass into glory and behold Jesus face-to-face.
“Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains;” – Rev. 6:15
Who is able to stand? Kings and colonels; millionaires and the mighty; EVERY slave and EVERY free – they all run.
Who is able to escape? They flee. They try to hide in caves and under the rocks of the mountains.
The final day of judgment will reveal the truth that Man so desperately suppresses: Jesus is the Lamb of God and there is no cave and no rock in any mountain where one may hide from Him.
Also note Isa. 2:19 and Luke 23:30.

“Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb!” Rev. 19:9
“The seed of every sin known to man is in your heart! Amazing love that calls you to the Lamb’s wedding feast and not to Hell!” – Robert Murray McCheyne
This is one of the six benedictions of the Apocalypse (Rev. 1:3; 14:13; 20:6; 22:7; 22:14).
This is the day of joy and it is a feast!
“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.” – Rev. 3:19
The context here is a people lulled to inactivity because of overconfidence in self-reliance. Like an earthly father would discipline his child out of love, God wakes us up from our disobedient slumber and calls us to repent. All of which springs from His nature; life and love.
Wake up: Be zealous and repent!
It’s a hot summer afternoon. You’ve just been out working in the hay field. You are drenched in sweat. Someone hands you a drink. You expect it to be cold and refreshing. However, it turns out to be a warm cup of tea. Yuck! You spit it out!
Jesus warns about a people like that.
16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. – Rev. 3:16
No one uses “lukewarm” in a good way. It’s always used as something unacceptable. It isn’t what we wanted. Are we lukewarm? If so, you better believe God will spit us out. The Greek word (eméō) means repulsed, showing utter rejection (desiring total separation); ‘to reject with extreme disgust’ (WP, 6, 321).”
Vomiting is such an awful experience. I mean, it’s violent, really. God will barf us out if we are lukewarm. Sorry to be graphic, but that’s what Jesus warns.
Maybe this will help:

You are rich. You live in America, which means:
You knew all that.
I’m not here to give you a guilt trip over your stuff. Who am I to talk? I’ve watched “Hoarders” and thought… how close am I to that?! I’m also not here to tell you to sell all your stuff and give it to charity (but you gotta admit: that would be pretty epic).
I’m just trying to get you to see your stuff for what it is: stuff.
Even though you have all those things, and even though (by the world’s standards) you are rich, if you don’t have Jesus, you don’t have diddly-squat.
WITHOUT JESUS – you are completely bankrupt. WITHOUT YESHUA you are as broke as a joke.
Jesus said, “apart from Me, you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
The world’s wealth indicators could be lost in an instant: one fire, one flood, or one thief. If your happiness and sense of accomplishment were tied to those objects, then – there it goes.
If you lose all your stuff and even if you lose your health, but you HAVE JESUS, then – you are rich beyond compare:
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? – Rom. 8:32 (also note Rev. 3:21!)
Real wealth is knowing the LORD and being known by Him (1 Cor. 8:3). Real riches are only found in Him (Matt. 6:19-24).
