Jesus answers.
“Let Israel now say, ‘His mercy endures forever.’ Let the house of Aaron now say, ‘His mercy endures forever.’ Let those who fear the Lord now say, ‘His mercy endures forever.’” – Psa. 118:2-4
His mercy endures forever.
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” – Psa. 118:1
The Lord is good.
“For His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!” – Psa. 117:2
God’s truth endures forever.
“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!” – Psa. 117:1
All the nations are instructed to praise God.
“I will pay my vows to the Lord now in the presence of all His people, in the courts of the Lord’s house, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise the Lord!” – Psa. 116:18-19
He alone is worthy.
“I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
And will call upon the name of the Lord.” – Psa. 116:17
Jesus alone is worthy.
“O Lord, truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have loosed my bonds.” – Psa. 116:16
Freedom is only found in Jesus.
“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” – Psa. 116:15
Our death is precious to Jesus.
“I will pay my vows to the Lord now in the presence of all His people.” – Psa. 116:14
