Clothed With Power

“Who established the mountains by His strength, Being clothed with power; – Psa. 65:6

The mountains did not make themselves. God, through His mighty power, established them.

You Who Are the Confidence

“By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the far-off seas;” – Psa. 65:5

God is our confidence.

The Man You Choose

“Blessed is the man You choose, And cause to approach You, That he may dwell in Your courts.” – Psa. 65:4

God causes believers to approach Him.

Raised

He who was delivered over because of our wrongdoings, and was raised because of our justification.” – Rom. 4:25

Every day is lived in the shadow of the cross and the hope of the empty tomb.

Walk Just As He

He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” – 1 John 2:6

Profession involves an obligation to act accordingly to the profession.

In the Secret, Under the Shadow

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” – Psa. 91:1

God extends His “shadow” over the believer who places himself under His protection.

Remember That You Were At That Time

Remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the people of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.” – Eph. 2:12

All our pasts.

Die Once

And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” Heb. 9:27

Reincarnation is not a Biblical concept.

Saved FOR Good Works, Not BY Good Works

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” – Eph. 2:10

We are saved FOR good works, not BY good works.

He Is Altogether Lovely

His mouth is most sweet, Yes, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, And this is my friend,” – Song of Solomon 5:16

The unrivaled BEAUTY of Jesus.

“Put the beauty of ten thousand worlds of paradises, like the Garden of Eden in one; put all trees, all flowers, all fragrances, all colors, all tastes, all joys, all loveliness, all sweetness in one. O what a lovely and excellent thing would that be! And yet it would be LESS compared to our dearest well-beloved Christ–than one drop of rain compared to the whole seas, rivers, and lakes of ten thousand earths.”– Samuel Rutherford (1600-1661)
