Abundantly Satisfied With the Fullness of Your House

“How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.” – Psa. 36:7-8

Some verses just sing.

How precious is God’s kindness. When we put our trust in Him, God exceeds our wildest expectations – not with earthly health and wealth, but – with the fullness of His house.

That’s verses 7-8. The icing on the cake is verse 9: “For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.”

He is the source, not us or our circumstances or our feelings. Because of Him we see the world as it truly is.

Like I said: Sings.

Their Message Will Spread Like Cancer

“And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort,” – 2 Tim. 2:17

False teachers and their teaching are like cancer. The actual Greek word is gangrene; an eating sore. It literally gnaws you.

So gross and so deadly.

Beware.

Perfect In Weakness

“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” – 2 Cor. 12:9

When I hear the prosperity gospel and all that the Word of Faith speakers say, I am reminded of Paul’s writing is just how different they are from him. Couldn’t get more different. It is a different message.
