You Who Are the Confidence

“By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the far-off seas;” – Psa. 65:5

God is our confidence.

Saved FOR Good Works, Not BY Good Works

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” – Eph. 2:10

We are saved FOR good works, not BY good works.

Calm, Part 1: Be Calm

“Take care and be calm, have no fear and do not be fainthearted,” – Isa. 7:4

The Christian attitude is marked by calm; a settled inner repose of quiet unaffected by circumstances.

He Will Teach You

“But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name–He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” – John 14:26

Without the Holy Spirit, we are untaught, unlearned, uneducated.

I Live By Faith

“I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me!” – Gal. 2:20

There is no other way to live.

Glorify Your Father

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Jesus (Matt. 5:16)

Good works don’t shine a light on the person, but on God.

I Will Guide You

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.” – Psa. 32:8

You can have no more precious assurance than this.

The Very Hairs Of Your Head

“But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” – Jesus (Matt. 10:30)

What a promise is this! All that befalls you, to the very numbering of your hairs–is known to God! 

Through the Mercy of the Most High

“For the king trusts in the Lord,
And through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved.” – Psa. 21:7

Here is the true hierarchy.

Save, Lord!

“Save, Lord! May the King answer us when we call.” – Psa. 20:9

God saves. God answers.

Our King will deliver us through His Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.
