I will be to them as a little sanctuary

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet I will be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they have gone.” – Ezekiel 11:16

Every place in which the Lord manifests Himself, is a sanctuary to a child of God.

Draw near to my soul, and redeem it

“And do not hide Your face from Your servant, For I am in trouble; Hear me speedily. Draw near to my soul, and redeem it; Deliver me because of my enemies.” – Psa. 69:17-18

God hears, draws near, redeems, and delivers.

The multitude of Your tender mercies

“Hear me, O Lord, for Your lovingkindness is good;
Turn to me according to the multitude of Your tender mercies.” – Psa. 69:16

God is good with a multitude of tender mercies.

Deliver me out of the mire

Deliver me out of the mire,
And let me not sink;
Let me be delivered from those who hate me,
And out of the deep waters.
Let not the floodwater overflow me,
Nor let the deep swallow me up;
And let not the pit shut its mouth on me.” – Psa. 69:14-15

Look to the Lord.

The offense of the cross

“And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased.” – Gal. 5:11

There is an offense that accompanies the cross.

I have called you by your name; You are Mine

But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine
.” – Isa. 43:1

You are God’s.

Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith

“looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” – Heb. 12:2

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.

You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth

“O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth,” – Psa. 65:5

God is our confidence.

The goodness of Your house

“We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple.” – Psa. 65:4b

We are satisfied with the Lord’s goodness.

You who hear prayer

“O You who hear prayer,
To You all flesh will come.
Iniquities prevail against me;
As for our transgressions,
You will provide atonement for them.” – Psa. 65:2-3

God hears prayers and provided atonement for our transgressions through Jesus.
