Grace would seem strange to a graceless society.
“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased.” – Luke 2:14
Peace on earth is only through Jesus.
“For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” – Isa. 9:6
Peace is not the absence of war, but the presence of God.
“Don’t you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” – James 4:4
Friendship with the world is hatred toward God. A friend of the world is an enemy of God.
“Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.” – Psa. 62:1
Wait for the Lord.
“He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved.” – Psa. 62:2,6
Trust in the Lord.
“But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.” – Gal. 2:25
Jesus has come.
“Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.” – Psa. 60:11
Only God can truly help.
“When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” – Psa. 61:2
Look up to Jesus.
“For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us.” – 2 Cor. 1:20
God fulfills ALL His promises.
