“But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells” – 2 Pet. 3:13
Ellicott says, “Righteousness has its home there; is not a wanderer and changeful guest, as on earth, therefore by righteousness must ye make yourselves worthy of entering therein.”
This is a promise worthy of our longing; where righteousness lives.
