Afflicted

“Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey Your Word. Psalm 119:67

Afflicted means to be bowed down, become low, or be humbled.

It’s how the psalmist is able to say, “It was good for me to be afflicted, so that I might learn Your decrees.” Psa. 119:71
