A Serpent May Bite When It Is Not Charmed

A serpent may bite when it is not charmed; The babbler is no different.” – Eccl. 10:11

The Preacher uses the metaphor of a snake charmer being bit by his own snake to show the danger and foolishness of babbling on and on.

Eventually, you will be bit by your own words!

Convicting!
