Feelings Are Not Truth

John 17 17

Feelings are not truth.

The culture that says: “Do what you feel; If it feels good – do it” is doomed. It may sound good, but if you follow that line of thinking, it leads to chaos & confusion. In just one day my feelings may jump all over the place; from joyous to defeated, from confused to exuberant, or from engaged to apathetic. Jesus is the only constant.

“Just follow your heart.” What? The heart is desperately wicked, who can know it? (Jer. 17:9). Many times my heart betrays me altogether. Jesus alone is trustworthy.

Surrender EVERYTHING to The Lordship of Jesus!

Feelings are not truth. Jesus said, “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” – John 17:17
